Submit Your Application
Fill out the intake form at tomenterprise.org/apply. Stan applies the Surgical Logic vetting rubric across 8 categories. A score of 24 or higher qualifies you for a 30-minute discovery call with Tralynn.
Mentor Matching
After enrollment, TOM Enterprise's AI-powered matching system pairs you with a mentor based on your industry, stage of business, stated goals, and communication style. You're informed of your match before your first session.
2-Hour Orientation
Before sessions begin, your mentor completes a 2-hour orientation through TOM Enterprise, covering program expectations, confidentiality standards, goal-setting frameworks, and the monthly progress reporting process.
Bi-Weekly 60-Min Sessions
You meet with your mentor twice per month for 60-minute structured sessions. Between sessions, you have email and phone access to your mentor. Monthly progress reports track goals and document growth. Minimum 6-month commitment.

Standard, Sliding Scale, and Scholarship mentees receive identical program quality. Financial tier affects cost — never the caliber of support you receive.
Bi-Weekly 60-Min Sessions
Two 60-minute sessions per month for a minimum of 6 months — 12 sessions total at the base commitment. Sessions are structured, time-boxed, and built around your documented goals. Both virtual and in-person formats available.

TOM Enterprise uses an AI-powered matching system to pair you with a mentor whose industry background, business experience, and communication style aligns with your stage and goals. You're never randomly assigned.
Goal Tracking & Progress Reports
Your goals are documented at the start of the engagement. Monthly progress reports — completed by your mentor — benchmark your growth against those goals and identify where to focus each upcoming session.
Email & Phone Support
Your mentor commits to responding to your email and phone communications between sessions within 48 hours. You're never waiting a full month for a quick answer to an urgent business question.

The Standards Every TOM Mentor Signs
All TOM Enterprise volunteer mentors sign a formal Mentor Volunteer Agreement before their first session. Here is what that agreement requires — no exceptions.
6-Month Minimum · Bi-Weekly Sessions
Mentors commit to a minimum 6-month volunteer engagement. Sessions are bi-weekly, 60 minutes each. Between sessions, mentors respond to mentee communications within 48 hours. Mentors also attend an initial 2-hour orientation and quarterly update trainings.
Strict Non-Disclosure on All Mentee Information
Mentors are legally bound to maintain strict confidentiality of all mentee information — including business plans, brand strategies, and financial data. Information may not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent.
Informational Only — Not Professional Services
All mentorship is for educational and informational purposes only. Mentors are explicitly prohibited from providing legal, medical, financial, accounting, investment, or tax advice in their capacity as TOM Enterprise mentors. Mentees are solely responsible for their decisions.
Respect, Non-Solicitation, Zero Exploitation
Mentors treat all mentees, staff, and volunteers with mutual respect. Discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or exploitative behavior results in immediate removal. Mentors may not solicit mentees for paid outside services without TOM Enterprise's explicit approval.
All Mentee Work Belongs to the Mentee
Any intellectual property — logos, taglines, business plans, creative content — developed by a mentee during the program remains the sole property of the mentee or TOM Enterprise, per the applicable Service Agreement. Mentors waive all claims to mentee work product.
Arizona Law · Maricopa County Jurisdiction
The Mentor Volunteer Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. All disputes arising from the mentorship relationship are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona. Effective May 22, 2026.

Educational purposes only. All mentorship provided through TOM Enterprise's 1-on-1 Mentorship Program is for educational and informational purposes only. Mentors share guidance based on their personal and professional experience. This is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, accounting, tax, medical, or investment advice.
No guaranteed outcomes. Mentors do not guarantee any specific business result, including but not limited to revenue growth, profit, new clients, or business sustainability. Mentees are solely responsible for the business decisions they make and the outcomes of those decisions.
Volunteer mentors. All TOM Enterprise mentors serve on a strictly voluntary basis. No employer-employee relationship is created between TOM Enterprise and any mentor. Mentors receive no compensation for their service. All mentors sign a Mentor Volunteer Agreement and Release of Liability prior to their first session.
TOM Enterprise liability. TOM Enterprise shall not be held liable for any outcomes, results, losses, damages, or injuries — including business, financial, reputational, or other losses — arising from mentorship sessions, communications, guidance, or decisions made in reliance on that guidance. Use of the mentorship program is at the participant's own risk. TOM Enterprise's liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service.
